Outline his Life: Read Chapter 2 of Boskenna and the Paynters by Jim Hosking. Basically though, this first Francis of Boskenna was the great great grandson of William Camborne, who heads the Paynter family tree in Jim Hosking's book. Apparently, William Cambourne murdered William Paynter, escaped to Ireland and some years later returned to marry William Paynter's wife, take over his property and lands, and take over his name as well.
Jim's book suggests that this Francis and his son the 2nd Francis of Boskenna were both "smart" lawyers with almost as little respect for law and property rights as their ancestor!
